CIDER GUIDE

CIDER BY THE BAG IN A BOX OR BOTTLE CASE?

BAG IN BOX

Ordering Bag in Boxes can be a very economical way to enjoy our still ciders. Once opened, our Bag in Boxes have a 6-month shelf-life from date of opening. 5L Bag in Boxes, in particular, fit nicely in the fridge to allow you to enjoy your cider chilled straight from the tap. Our Bag in Box range is subject to change – from time to time you will notice new limited edition or seasonal additions such as Strawberry cider. To keep up to date with new additions to our website, you can sign up to our mailing list.

BOTTLED CIDERS

Ordering bottled ciders gives you the opportunity to try both our still and sparkling cider ranges: sparkling ciders will only be available by the bottle. If you are new to our ciders, ordering by the bottle allows you some variety as you can choose to build your own mixed case. All of our bottled ciders have been carefully and thoughtfully designed with beautiful bespoke imagery and illustration meaning that they make fantastic gifts.

SWEET, MEDIUM OR DRY

SWEET

Our sweet ciders are amongst our most popular as they incorporate our fruit ciders such as Rhubarb, Mango, Berry along with Kent Cider Co. classics such as Toffee Apple, Elderflower or Spiced.

MEDIUM

Our medium ciders are predominantly apple or pear ciders – read the tasting notes of each medium cider carefully as they can range from medium-dry to medium-sweet. You will see a combination of very traditionally Kentish apple ciders such as Discovery along with more contemporary blends such as Yowler which includes some cider specific apple varieties such as those more traditionally found in the West Country.

DRY

Very traditionally Kentish our dry ciders have absolutely no residual sweetness at all – with the exception of Copia which is just off dry. Russet, Granny Smith and Gala are all fully dry ciders and as such you will notice that their alcohol percentage will be higher due the natural sugar of pressed apples being allowed to ferment into alcohol and absolute dryness.

STILL OR SPARKLING

STILL

The majority of our ciders are naturally still and you can enjoy all
of our still ciders by the bag in box and some of our still ciders we bottle too.

SPARKLING

We have a smaller selection of bottled ciders which are sparkling : these include sparkling apple ciders along with sparkling real fruit ciders and occasionally we will take a still cider favourite and add it to our Trial Batch range resulting in Sparkling Toffee Apple or Elderflower.
